These are the other projects that
Ellis has worked on in one capacity or another. These are the ones I'm aware of. If you
know of something I don't.... Hey! Here's my e addy! Let me know. I'm an information
junkie, so feed my addiction *wink* Lisa - ragamfn1@hotmail.com.
BTW (by the way), these are in no
particular order, 'cause I'm being lazy just now. Maybe later I'll put them in
chronological order. For the obsessive compulsives out there - you can but dream of the
day, when the world is a well ordered place. My little corner remains dysfunctional *grin*
Okay everybody if you haven't already
heard (where HAVE you been?) the Live album is due out March 14th. Go the the
official site to preorder. Click here to be on your
way...
MP3 - Rollaway Bed
This is a
link to a really cool, country tinged song called Rollaway Bed that Ellis
did with Kristian Bush and Brandon Bush. I've heard nothing but good things about
Kristian, so I insist you visit his little corner of the world.
*grin* Kristian is also in a band called Billy Pilgrim, check out this fan based site
for them. :)
Club Passim
This is the much talked about, some might say legendary, venue in Boston. Happily Ellis is
also on the board of directors. Imagine that! Drop
by, why don't cha? While you're at it, check out the membership page.
Rob Laurens Home Page
Ellis is a multi-talented guy. He produced Rob Laurens' new album "Honey on the
Mountain". Ellis sounded really excited about it. It's one of the albums I'm
currently listening to. Plus Ellis also does some background vocals on it. So,
everybody wins. Check it out, along with the hidden track at the end. Rumor has it, it's a
Woody Guthrie tune.
End Construction Productions
This is a project that Ellis worked on with a few other musicians. This is also
referenced in the compilations list. Take a look!
Archive for Live Broadcast
from Kennedy Center
Ellis' performance is up and running. It was a great show with new songs and some older
stuff as well. I think "Did Gallileo Pray" is stunning and so is
"Maria's Beautiful Mess". Of course I'm also partial to "Everything's
Broken". You know what... Don't ask me, I'm indecisive (it's a character
flaw, so sue me *grin*). Go see for yourself. Be aware though that you need to
download a RealPlayer to see it. The link for the RealPlayer is here.
***I recently visited
the Kennedy Center Archives and you must now do a search by genre to find the show Ellis
did. DO NOT do a name search. For some unknown reason it isn't working. Just search for
Folk and it will pull up all the folk performances. Ellis' is on the 3rd or 4th page I
believe. June 22, 1999. 'kay? Don't I take care of you all? *grin*
Karen's Compilation Corner (
by Karen Z)
Karen did a lot of work on this and I certainly appreciate the effort. Ellis lends his
talent to quite a few projects, I must say. There may be more stuff out
there... If you know of anything, please email me or Karen. (It's called
contribution, people!)
