Configuring Outlook Express for Angstrom
1. Click Accounts on the Tools menu.
2. Withinn the Internet Accounts dialog box, click Add, and then
Mail.
3. In the Display Name box, type the name you want others to see
next to your email address when you send a message, and then click Next.
4. In the E-mail Address box, type the e-mail address for the
account you are using. for example, "your_username@angstrom.net".
Choose Next.
5. Under E-mail Server Names, select the appropriate incoming
mail server type (POP3 which is the default type) and then type the name
of Angstrom's incoming mail server, mail.angstrom.net and outgoing (SMTP)
server, also mail.angstrom.net. Click Next.
6. Type your POP account name and password in the POP Account Name
and Password boxes. The Secure Password Authentication (SAP) should not
be checked. Click Next.
7. Select the connection type that you use to connect to the
Internet.
If you click "Use my phone line to connect," you are prompted
to choose an existing Dial up networking connection you have already
configured which should be called Angstrom.
8. Click Finish. You're Done!
