Setting up Netscape Messenger

You can access the mail program by clicking the messenger icon at on your Communicator menu.




Once the mail window is up, you can start filling in the appropriate information. Choose Edit from the menu at the top of the screen, and then Preferences from the drop down menu.



A separate window like the one below will open with several categories listed in the box on the left. choose Mail Servers. On the right, click the Add button next to incoming mail servers.




The Incoming Server name will be mail.angstrom.net The Server Type will be POP3 The Username will be your_username You may choose Remember Password Passwod if you prefer. When you're done, click OK. The last thing to configure is the outgoing mail server settings The Outgoing Mail Server Name is mail.angstrom.net The Username is your_username From the choices on the left, under Mail and Newsgroups choose Identity



You can supply whatever name you like in the Your Name field. make sure that the email address shows your_username@angstrom.net That's it! You can click the OK Button at the lower left.
