What are the Minimum requirements to get started? It is best to have a computer with at least 16 megs of memory and running a more recent operating system. For windows, we support Windows 95 and 98. For Macintosh we recommend OS 8.0 or higher. Earlier systems may work but we cannot guarantee your ability to connect. You should also have at least a 14.4 modem. To add web pages to your account, ftp files to shell.angstrom.net. Any files in your subdirectory public_html will be publishable; the index or home page should be named index.html.
